A prominent Bogotá plastic surgeon has been formally charged over the deaths of four patients and injuries to three others following cosmetic procedures at his upscale clinic.

Colombia's disaster agency UNGRD reported an increase in the death toll from this week's earthquake, as emergency crews continue search operations in Chocó, the Coffee Region and Valle del Cauca.
