Mexican television personality Alan Tacher got the surprise of a lifetime at the world premiere of the film ‘Digger’ in London’s Leicester Square, when Hollywood star Tom Cruise discovered a personal connection to one of the movie’s young cast members.
Tacher, who was covering the red carpet for the morning show ‘Despierta América,’ was chatting with Cruise and acclaimed Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu when the filmmaker decided to reveal a family tie. Turning to Cruise, Iñárritu pointed at Tacher and asked, ‘Do you know he’s Hannah’s father?’ — referring to Hannah Tacher, who had worked alongside both men on the production.
