Mexican pop star Alejandra Guzmán, a member of the famous Pinal entertainment dynasty, was forced to cut short a concert in Veracruz, Mexico, after suffering a sudden hip injury while performing.
The incident happened early in her show at the World Trade Center Veracruz, part of her tour “Los que nos quedamos” (“Those Who Stayed”). Guzmán was singing one of her well-known hits when a sharp dance move apparently caused the injury. She stopped mid-song, visibly in pain, and told the stunned crowd, “My hip popped out of place. I don’t know what to do. I think I need a doctor.”
Concerned staff quickly called for medical help, and paramedics arrived on stage to assist her as fans watched anxiously, unsure of what was happening to the singer. Unable to continue performing, Guzmán was taken to a hospital in the city for further evaluation and treatment.
The singer, known for hits from a decades-long career in Latin pop and rock, has not yet released further details about her diagnosis, recovery timeline, or whether upcoming tour dates will be affected.
