Rather than skip the topic, Sheeran chose to address it directly with the crowd. “I have tried in my career not to be a political commentator of any kind, because I want my music and shows to be about unity, not division,” the British singer told fans. “But this is a humanitarian issue, and I cannot hide how I feel about it anymore.”
His remarks marked a notable shift for an artist who has largely steered clear of politically charged statements throughout his career, and they underscore how the Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues to ripple through the entertainment industry, prompting artists and crews to take public stances even at the risk of disrupting their own shows.
